For more than 30 years, Savant Wealth Management has worked to provide wise counsel to individuals, families, and businesses. A fee-only, independent RIA firm, we offer investment management, financial planning, retirement planning, and family office services to financially established individuals and institutions. We also offer corporate accounting, tax preparation, payroll and consulting through our affiliate, Savant Tax & Consulting. As of December 31, 2024, Savant held approximately $29.03 billion in assets under management and $1.14 billion in assets under advisement.

What Makes Savant Different

Savant is distinguished by its independence and its employee ownership. We believe that all financial advice should be made in our clients’ best interests, and our employee ownership enables us to provide long-term continuity in our client relationships. In addition, ownership in our firm helps Savant attract and retain top talent in our industry, as well as outside investors who can provide capital and expertise to support our growth. Savant’s capital structure is also unique in that our firm can never be forced to sell itself or buy out outside investors. We believe that level of independence frees us to make sound decisions on behalf of our firm and our clients without pressure or obligation.

Our Roots

Groundwork for Savant began many years ago with the founding of its predecessor, Savant Planning Group, Ltd., in 1986 in the heart of Rockford, IL. Savant Co-founder and CEO Brent Brodeski joined shortly thereafter and the firm expanded beyond financial planning into wealth management.

The independent registered investment advisor movement was in its infancy at the time. In a closed, club-like industry where you needed connections or paid high fees to access basic financial advice, Savant Wealth Management was a fresh alternative that put investors and their best interests first. We acted on the premise that investors deserve truly independent financial planning advice, unbiased by conflicts of interest.

Fast forward to today. After more than 30 years at the forefront of the industry, Savant Wealth Management continues to remain steadfast in our beliefs and sits on the same side of the table as the clients we are privileged to serve.
