Each client has a unique story and a unique set of goals. My job is to provide wise counsel to help achieve those goals through the planning process. As everyone's life journey is ever-changing, proactive planning and a sound investment strategy provide a strong foundation to help build confidence and peace of mind.
Drake has been involved in the financial services industry since 2015. Prior to joining Savant, he was a senior assurance associate at a public accounting firm where he helped perform financial statement audits on diverse clientele in various industries.
Drake earned a bachelor of science degree in accountancy and a master of accounting science degree, both from the University of Illinois. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Drake serves on the board of directors for Rock House Kids, a Christ-centered safe haven for Rockford’s inner-city children. He is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Rockford, the Chamber’s signature leadership development program, and served as a moderator for the 2020 class. In 2022, he was recognized by the Rockford Chamber as one of 40 Leaders Under Forty.
Drake and his wife Danielle live in Rockford and are enjoying the exciting stages of parenthood with their daughter Delilah and son Dane. In his free time, he enjoys boating on the Rock River and Lake Redstone, fishing, gardening, traveling, and playing softball.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® in the U.S., which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
2022 Chamber of Commerce 40 Leaders Under Forty: This annual ranking published in June 2022 is based on awarding leaders chosen from various professional fields who have distinguished themselves in their professional field or organization. Candidates for Savant were nominated by employees of their organization. Savant is a member of the Chamber and pays an annual membership fee. Savant was not required to pay to participate or win. Candidates are not required to work for Chamber member organizations, preference is given to those who do.
