Emilia Ornelas

Emily has been involved in the accounting industry since 1991. She was a partner of Raymond F. Book & Associates, P.A. CPAs, until it joined with Savant Tax & Consulting in 2023.

Emily earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a master of science degree in organizational leadership, both from Wilmington University, and a certificate in computerized accounting from Delaware Technical Community College. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants (DSCPA).

A Texas native, Emily relocated to Delaware in 1982. While supporting many causes over the years, Emily’s main focus is collecting donations for the food bank and contributing to programs that support foster children.
