One of my first jobs was in Guest Relations at our local water park where I realized how much I enjoy helping people solve problems. I'm so happy to find a career where I can combine both that passion and my natural interest in financial planning. It's the best marriage I could ask for (outside of my own!).
Jeff is a financial advisor in Savant’s Rockford, IL headquarters. He has a membership interest in Savant.
Jeff especially enjoys working with small business owners and individuals with complex employer stock awards, like restricted stock units, non-qualified stock options, and performance stock units.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM (CRPS®), Jeff is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.
Jeff has been involved in the financial services industry since 2015. Before becoming an advisor, he spent four years in both Savant’s investment research and financial planning departments where he worked alongside financial advisors to develop financial plans for clients.
Jeff serves on the board of directors for Rockford Promise, a local non-profit that offers full-tuition college scholarships to deserving graduates of Rockford Public Schools District 205. In 2022, he was recognized by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce as one of 40 Leaders Under Forty. Jeff is frequently interviewed by local TV stations and has been quoted by both local and national publications, including The Financial Advisor Magazine, SmartAsset, Forbes, and the Rockford Register Star. From time to time, you will see him opening shows at the Coronado Performing Arts Center or Starlight Theatre in Rockford.
Jeff earned a bachelor of science degree in economics from Illinois State University, graduating with cum laude honors.
Jeff and his wife Mallory have two children, Everly and Easton. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. You can also find him on a local golf course teeing it up with close friends.

2022 Chamber of Commerce 40 Leaders Under Forty: This annual ranking published in June 2022 is based on awarding leaders chosen from various professional fields who have distinguished themselves in their professional field or organization. Candidates for Savant were nominated by employees of their organization. Savant is a member of the Chamber and pays an annual membership fee. Savant was not required to pay to participate or win. Candidates are not required to work for Chamber member organizations, preference is given to those who do.
