As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM (AAMS®), and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), Mike is knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning, including wealth transfer and philanthropy, proactive income and estate tax planning, retirement cash flow projections, retirement income optimization, insurance needs analyses, debt management, and education funding.

Mike has been involved in the financial services industry since 2001. Prior to joining Savant, he spent 11 years as owner of Addison Clark Wealth Management, LLC. Before that, he was a financial consultant for Charles Schwab and a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley.

Mike is a member of the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts®, the Financial Planning Association, the Buffalo Grove Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, the Lake County (IL) Bar Association, and the Lake County Estate Planning Council.

Mike earned a bachelor of arts degree in social science from Florida Atlantic University.

Mike resides in Vernon Hills, IL with his wife Michelle and their twin daughters. He is also the dad of two older daughters. In his spare time, he loves traveling, flying planes, fishing, baseball, and anything outdoors.
