Scott L. Kornstedt

Scott has been involved in the financial services industry since 2004 and is part of Savant’s University Wealth Management team. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in business economics from Wisconsin Lutheran College and a master of business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Scott is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), and a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®).

Scott serves on the board of The Friends of the Waisman Center, a group that seeks to enhance and supplement many types of activities at the Waisman Center that otherwise would not be possible. Most of these activities directly benefit children with developmental disabilities and their families. Scott and his wife Carrie met with experts at the Waisman Center shortly after their daughter Raegan’s birth and diagnosis of PKU, a rare metabolic disorder that prevents her from properly metabolizing phenylalanine, a common amino acid that exists in most proteins.

Scott and Carrie have a son Payton and daughter Raegan. They love to camp in the summer and keep busy the rest of the year with the kids’ sports activities, including basketball, soccer, baseball, football, softball, and horseback riding. The kids also enjoy piano and guitar lessons, and Scott is trying to pass along his percussion skills to them. Born and raised on a Wisconsin farm, they are all avid fans of the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks.
